The Brief

Hold its own against the glass.

Cook Brothers Construction’s new Christchurch HQ sits on a fully glazed corner site, fronting two streets. The brief: a reception and identity sign that holds its own against all that glass — clean by day, unmistakable after dark, and legible from both street frontages.

The Approach

Three layers, one identity.

We built the identity in three layers. A building-mounted illuminated panel carries the night presence. A brushed-aluminium plinth grounds the entrance with a premium daytime read. Exterior fascia lettering ties it to the architecture. Everything designed, fabricated and installed by the same team.

The Result

Visible from two streets, day or night.

A reception sign that earns its place on a glazed corner facade — visible from two streets, day or night, and built to stay sharp for years.
